Your home from home
The smarter choice
In 1997 when SACO was first established, serviced apartments were a new concept that had yet to prove its worth to the business community and the individual traveller alike. Today the world is a different place and serviced apartments are now firmly established as the smart alternative to hotels, for both short and longer term accommodation.
A typical apartment...
SACO apartments are centrally located, more spacious than the average hotel room and equipped to a very high standard, typically providing:
- Separate living and sleeping spaces
- Weekly cleaning, linen and towel services
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Dishwasher
- Washer/dryer
- Satellite TV and DVD player
- Direct dial telephone
- Broadband internet access
- High levels of security and safety
All our apartments are centrally located and benefit from good access to main transport networks, leisure amenities and key business centres. Many locations also provide on-site parking.
Guest services, operational management teams and house keeping services ensure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay, whether you’re on a short leisure break or an extended business stay.
Setting the standard
Working with Quality in Tourism – the organisation responsible for the main “star” rating system for hotels and serviced accommodation, VisitBritain – the new name for the British Tourist Board, in conjunction with the Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP), has established the first standards programme for the industry in the world.
SACO became the first serviced apartment company to achieve a four-star rating for properties in five major UK cities under the new Quality in Tourism grading scheme. The introduction of a new national grading scheme means business and leisure travellers now have the reassurance of knowing that an apartment has been independently assessed.
We are now looking to implement the same standards across our global network. We believe this pro-active approach to raising the standards of accommodation and service will expand the profile and promote the widespread use of serviced apartments throughout the travel industry.
